Superfruits production in Malaysia is a niche industry as our country relies heavily on imports of these fruits.

NCER is proud to be the leader of this industry by collaborating with a strategic anchor
company and research institutes in developing a 25-hectare superfruit farm, one of the largest in Southeast Asia.

Located in the heart of the picturesque Chuping Valley in Perlis, this initiative focuses mainly on growing fig, lemon and gấc. The farm has produced over 30 metric tonnes of fresh produce since its inception, and created job and internship opportunities for surrounding residents and students from local and foreign institutions of higher learning. In addition, over 15 downstream products have been developed and marketed through dealers and online platforms.
