Organisational Structure
The NCIA Council is chaired by the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Its members come from the highest level of the Federal and State Administration, and also includes senior representatives from the civil service and the private sector.
NCIA is also overseen by an Audit Committee to ensure that it adheres to the principles of good governance. Each NCER state has its own State Steering Committee (SSC), which is chaired by the respective Menteri Besar and Chief Minister. The SSC is responsible for identifying and expediting the implementation of strategic development projects and investments in the respective states.
At NCIA’s level, the Management Committee holds the ultimate responsibility in directing the activities of the organisation, ensuring that it is well run with integrity, and delivering the Key Result Indicators which have been set and agreed upon by the Council.
