NCIA was established under the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority Act 2008 (Act 687) as the authority responsible for providing direction and devising policies and strategies in relation to socioeconomic development in Northern Corridor Economic Region.
NCIA’s purpose is to uplift the socio-economic status and quality of life for the 6.8 Million population in NCER while preserving our environment and unique ecology for future generations. Responsible for assisting the Head of Procurement on the overall responsibility to develop and execute procurement policies, procedures and practices of selecting vendors, establishing payment terms, strategic vetting, selection, the negotiation of contracts and actual purchasing of goods for the organization, in accordance to legal and federal requirements wherever required.
